One of the best doctors I’ve ever had even his bedside manner
He answered all my questions and was very professional.
Good listener!
Dr Steen is the very best in Volusia County for shoulder replacement. Patients recover more quickly and with less pain. All my therapists said he was the absolute best. I agree! I am way ahead of the norm, and I am 77,
The doctor came n and introduced himself. He didn’t ask me any questions because he said he read my file and saw the images. He told me I would have surgery to replace ball and joint in torn and detached rotator cuff. He said he could give me a steroid injection. I agreed. When he started the injection I stated I have never had an injection right on top of the injury. He told me that the other doctor wasn’t doing it right. The injection hurt when he gave it and I got teary eyed, he said it would get better. It didn’t and it hurt like the day I injured it on 12/15/2023! I was up all night with the pain! I have been having sharps stinging down my arm and muscle spasms. Also, I asked for a PT referral because I have forgotten the exercises I did for 10 months last year. He said the referral would be at checkout out. The young lady at checkout stated the was no referral for me. I asked if she could check with the doctor and she said he was busy. If a referral came through
