His training included significant exposure to complex fractures, joint replacement surgery, and arthroscopic surgery. He had a significant interest in basic science research and completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Boston University Orthopaedic basic science lab that led to numerous peer reviewed articles on topics ranging from stem cell therapy to treatment of hip fractures. I had two surgeries done by Dr. Steen. Could not have asked for better outcome. I trust Dr. Steen fully. If I ever need another surgery and it’s in his realm of expertise, I would want Dr. Steen for my orthopedic surgeon. Adam Pourciau
First visit with this Dr. He has very good bedside manner, knowledgeable, answered all my concerns. Looked over X-rays, examined my shoulder and knew what was wrong, had treatment ready in seconds! Very prepared! Thank you Dr. Sheen!
Dr steen is very good at explaining my opts in my upcoming orthopedic surgery on Thursday afternoon
My appointment was less than 10 minutes, all my concerns felt very dismissed and the pain I’ve been experiencing for over a year was deemed due to “bad posture”. When I tried to explain the noises/pain I’ve been suffering he just said “everyone’s shoulder clicks” and said I needed to do PT twice a week.
Took time to explain my treatment plan and answered all of my questions concisely and clearly.
Great orthopedic dr
Listened to my questions and answered them so I could understand
I feel that I am receiving the best medical treatment possible. Grateful patient.
Explains everything so that you understand
