Did not see the Eye Doctor, only an assistant for a re-visit due to issues with prescription error on new glasses received and subsequent prescription correction.

Dr. Erickson is very personable and easy to talk to. He explains the eye exam findings well. I would highly recommend him to friends.

Dr Erickson was fabulous and answered my questions so I was able to understand. My appointment was toward the end of the day and Dr. E texted me as if I was the first person he saw. He was energetic when he greeted me. I loved his enthusiasm and his concerns. His staff was good. The tech who did the initial testings of my eyes, had her questions down so well she seemed robotic. She was nice and informed me of her steps and what she expected me to do. The only negative thing I would say is the person I called to schedule my appointment. He kept asking me why I called and if I really needed to come in. It seemed as if he was trying to talk me out of coming in. After I told him about the history of my eyes.

This provider was okay but was not much interested in what I had to say and more interested in what the previous doctor and ER had notated instead. I have chronically been diagnosed for over a decade to have dry eye syndrome. He said he didn't see dry eye so I don't think that just changes 🤔 so dry to the point that I should probably be using drops regularly in fact I was previously told to do so but wait we're not in Idaho anymore are we Toto?? Very happy to see that the signs of my ulcer have definitely decreased now is that from the drops that were given there or from the stuff that I'm now taking internally? I guess it doesn't matter as long as it's getting better. I'm still going to fight against this it's whole contact lenswear when I feel it wanting to come into my other eye and I've complained and spoken about this several times I feel like you treat me like I'm a crazy hypochondriac and I may be one ..... But.... instead you should be listening to my ailments that are valid.

super fast he only spent about 10 minutes with me, if that. He looked at my eyes, said everything was good, he was nice and asked if I had any questions.

He was really knowledgeable but I felt a bit overwhelmed by medical terms and what he was relaying to the other guy in the room typing his comments. I felt I had to pull information out of him about what was going on /causes, etc. I just didn't feel any more confident about what could be causing my issues than I did going in.

this business forces people on Medicaid, the lowest of the low income patients, to lie and say they will pay for medical bills, if OHP does not. They wouldn’t allow me to sit down in the lobby well they asked their supervisor if I could see the doctor wothout signing.. answer? No. they also lied and said it was my insurance company that required this pretend signature which of course is a lie because poor people cannot pay so they can’t agree to pay.

I appreciated the time that Dr. Erickson reacted to see me late on a Saturday afternoon. I was experiencing loss of vision in my left eye. He did send me to Salem Hosp. ER as i had he had suspected a mini stroke in that eye. He responded and acted in my best interest.

He was friendly, professional and informative. He provided script for new glasses and evaluated/treated left eye pain concerns. However when that was complete he never indicated I would be evaluated for eye disease as someone my age and family history would indicate.

After an hour of waiting, Dr. Erickson entered and did NOT know the reason for my visit. He did NOT even ask me personally, merely spoke to his assistant. I wanted to explain symptoms and eye concerns, but he appeared indifferent, with little patience. I had questions needed to be answered. He stayed maybe 10 minutes. He made me feel unimportant.

Didn't have the sense that either the Dr or the technician were interested in my concerns. Technician especially was abrupt , impatient and unfriendly.

Unsure why his evaluation of my cateracs is so different from my eye surgeon in seattle. Dr. Erickson stated they were mild to moderate and my previous(very reputable) OP said the cateracs were on the high end of moderate.

My examination was thorough and I appreciate how comfortable I was in the room with everything going on that was being explained to me as we went along thank you for a wonderful experience
