Dr. Brandon Nudelman, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon who treats general orthopedic conditions such as fractures, dislocations and arthritis, as well as specialty treatment of sports injuries related to the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle. He enjoys caring for and returning athletes to sport quickly and safely. During his residency and fellowship, he was involved in the surgical and non-operative care of athletes at the high school, college and professional levels, and has experience serving as a team physician.
Dr. Nudelman employs a minimally invasive approach where possible with arthroscopic surgery for conditions such as rotator cuff or meniscus tears, ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and ankle disorders, among several others. He also performs total joint replacements of the shoulder, hip and knee and is credentialed to use robotic techniques. During residency, he did a mini-shoulder fellowship in France with internationally renowned surgeons, focusing on shoulder replacement surgery and other complex surgical techniques. At the prestigious Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI) in Los Angeles, he received advanced fellowship training in sports medicine, arthroscopy & reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Nudelman remains involved in orthopedic research, having authored publications in peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Journal, and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He has been invited to present his research at several national and international meetings.
Dr. Nudelman grew up in Newcastle, WA and is thrilled to be back in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and son. In his free time, Dr. Nudelman enjoys supporting Seattle sports teams, playing golf, and traveling the world. He is grateful for the unique relationships developed and stories encountered with each patient he treats and looks forward to meeting you.
Doctor nudelman was prompt and thorough. He carefully took my history and did the same with my physical exam. I had prior to my visit had an MRI and showed me the images explaining what I was seeing. One of the Best!
Dr. Nudelman is a very capable surgeon with a caring and patient bedside manner. He performed a complicated proximal hamstring avulsion repair on me following a fall, and it went very smoothly and I am making a strong recovery. I highly recommend him.

He is a good Dr. I like him. Like all Drs at swedish I never feel comfortable asking for pain meds. In the past I got to many now it's not enough.
