Very friendly and personable. I was hurting and scared that I would need surgery. Dr. Burris walked in, did a few tests, and immediately knew what was wrong. He also knew that surgery wasn’t needed. He gave me an injection in my shoulder (not a lot of fun), but within 24 hours the inflammation was going down and I had the first bit of relief in months. His nurse and X-ray tech were also friendly and pleasant to be around. Thank you to everyone!!!

Awesome doctor. He made me feel connected to what he was doing and clearly explained what was happening to my knee. He dId not try to medicate/over-medicate me, which is one of my fears. . I had to get fluid on my knee, when he let me know he may have to drain the fluid, I kinda got scared but he reassured me that i would be fine. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Dr. Burris did not rush me even though I was a working. He had numerous x-rays taken then allowed me all the time I need to describe where my pain was located and the fool way I got hurt to cause the injuries. He was kind in that he did not mention I probably shouldn't have put myself in the situation I got myself into. I now am on the correct medicine regimen and have many therapy sessions scheduled. Thanks Dr Burris.

Wonderful Orthopedic doctor! Had extensive injury to my left shoulder. Dr Burris surgical skills and physical therapy recommendations have been instrumental in my recovery. As of today I have regained full functioning and mobility in that shoulder. As a patient his demeanor Is professional , caring, and kind.

Awesome Doctor! I had Bicep Tendon repair surgery and bone spurs removed. Zero pain and recovery moving right along. Highly recommended, will speak in a language that non medical patients can understand.

I have to say the doctor doesn't really want to spend anytime with his patients. Always in a rush !! I've come this far with Dr. Burris and I'll stay with him until I heal , but if I ever have to have more procedure done I'll go somewhere else.

He is a very pleasant gentleman and I could’ve spent another hour with him. This was my initial visit so I can’t really tell you if his diagnosis is correct or if the physical therapy does the job. But so far I’m quite plussed.

Personable, watched my xrays as they developed, quickly came into exam room, told me what he observed, prescribed cortisone shots in both shoulders, said to come back when I needed more shot ots or if thearpy was needed. That was a winner for me all around at my age of 88 and wonder why I didn’t come to Pinnacle 20 years ago!

While Dr. Burris was personable and seemed knowledgeable, I felt I was tasked with completing a LOT of paperwork in anticipation of my meeting with him for my appointment and NONE of it was so much as reviewed today. As a result, I felt the actual examination was perfunctory and quite superficial at best. I'm cautiously optimistic about my prognosis as none of the actual concerns I indicated were so much as referenced, much less asked about. Maybe it's a workers comp thing?

Felt like a criminal! I have had multiple surgeries, have no idea what's an opioid or not! I was told that you cannot have multiple doctors prescribing opioids and that it was against the law! Well that might be so but I'm not a pharmacist, I just need to get the pain gone from surgery. I've only seen the doctor one time since I actually had the surgery done and this is what I get? I guess he gets in trouble for prescribing opioids? Not everybody is a drug addict!
