Originally from South Carolina, Dr. Boyce earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Following medical school, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at West Virginia University and pursued advanced fellowship training in sports medicine at the Aspen Sports Medicine Foundation in Aspen, Colorado, where he refined his skills caring for athletes and active individuals.
After completing his training, Dr. Boyce returned to Georgia, where he now practices locally, providing comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine care to patients of all activity levels — from competitive athletes to individuals seeking relief from pain and improved function. His clinical interests include sports-related injuries, joint care, and general orthopedic conditions, with a focus on personalized treatment plans that support long-term recovery and performance.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Boyce leads an active lifestyle with his family on their 250-acre Wagyu cattle ranch. When he is not farming or in the operating room, he enjoys traveling, cooking, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He also serves as the owner and medical director of a medical spa in central Georgia.
