Dr. Bradley K. Vaughn is a board-certified surgeon experienced in adult total joint replacement and revision surgery. Prior to joining Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in 1992, he received his medical degree from the University of Illinois, completed his residency at the University of California, and pursued his fellowship in adult reconstruction in Columbus, Ohio. In addition to performing total hip and knee replacements and revisions, Dr. Vaughn consults in the development of current surgical techniques and the design of implants for hips and knees. He also participates in studies to improve existing procedures and devices. He has published articles in all the major medical journals. Dr. Vaughn lectures at medical meetings throughout the United States, as well as Europe, Australia, and Japan.

Dr. Vaughn is a huge link in an excellent chain of health care providers at Raleigh Orthopedic…beginning with a competent receptionist, a kind assistant who selects an appropriate exam room, an experienced X-ray specialist, and a customer driven surgeon who prescribes a course of action that is best for the patient.

My experience with Dr. Vaughn and his staff was exceptional! Everyone, from the front desk clerk, the technicians, nurses, anesthesiologist, physician assistants...everyone...seemed to be a well-functioning team. My visit and resulting knee replacement surgery was the most positive, stress-free, comprehensive medical interaction I have ever had in the U.S..
I was very impressed with his explanation about knee replacement. I have confidence in his ability to do away with the pain I have been struggling with.
I liked the manner in which he explained to me what was going on in my knee, going over my history and my prior medical records, treatments and surgery with me, as well as the findings in my newly taken X-rays. I never felt rushed in asking him any questions and agreed with his planned treatment.
