Braden Mattison

Dr. Braden Mattison was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. He attended Oregon State University for his undergraduate education where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the honors college with a degree in Biology. He then attended medical school in Southern California at Loma Linda University where he graduated in the top of his class with Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society recognition. He continued his education at Loma Linda University for his Orthopedic Surgery Residency. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Florida.

During his time in residency and fellowship, Dr. Mattison honed his skills in operating on the entire upper extremity in both adult and pediatric patients. He cares for all upper extremity conditions including fracture care, nerve decompression and repair, ligament and tendon injuries, arthritis management including joint replacement throughout the hand, upper extremity, and shoulder, minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures, Dupuytrens Disease, and more. Dr. Mattison centers his care around the patient and their goals. He prides himself on assessing the patients entire situation, using shared decision making to provide an individualized care plan for each patient.

In his free time, Dr. Mattison enjoys spending time with his wife and exploring the outdoors, including hiking, running, skiing, and watersports. He also enjoys attending sporting events, traveling and cooking.
