Dr. Candela has a strong interest in general medical dermatology with a focus on bullous disorders, both autoimmune and inherited. His previous clinical experience has included running an epidermolysis bullosa (EB) specialty clinic where he managed patients with simplex, junctional and dystrophic EB. Dr. Candela is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has authored numerous publications and presented research at local and national conferences.
