Did have to wait for a 10:10 appt. Had scan then someone pt eve drops in then waiting in back waiting room. Left at 11:45 Am. At 11:35 someone came to tell me she was running behind. I had a appt to have my flooded basement checked at 12 and had to reschedule it. Please tell patients Dr is running late as soon as possible. I

She is thorough and explained my problem. She gave her medical opinion on what is best for me from her findings. I truly appreciate her as a caring Doctor.

Great staff and explanation of results

Did a wonderful job with my mother who is legally blind and suffers from dementia.

She was knowledgable! Kind when putting in eye drops. Shared regarding no follow was necessary. No med was needed.

Dr O’Bryhim was caring and informative. Would recommend her to friends and family. I was dissatisfied with the service provided by her assistant. After taking my information in the exam room, I was told to remove my eye dressing. I waited for her to help me and when I asked if I was to do this myself she gave me the eye roll and said yes. There was no assistance offered, no mirror to look in to help. I peeled the tape off as best I could while she watched. When the shield was removed my upper and lower lashes were stuck together and I asked if I could have a tissue and some saline to unglue them. She simply told me no and handed me a dry tissue. I proceeded to literally pick my lashes apart while she watched me. After the visit she wrapped my eye shield in a tissue and handed it back to me. No tape was offered to secure the shield at night per Dr instructions. My background is healthcare and I was appalled at the lack of assistance provided by the assistant.

She talks so softly when giving readings to staff member, it leaves room for errors. She told me 9 months but staff heard it as 6. She was talking towards me, but staff was turned towards computer.

Dr O’Bryhim is caring and knowledgeable. She is through with her diagnosis and explains care options. She is gentle with treatments and follows up treatments check on results.

I waited 45 minutes in the waiting area prior to my appointment. That is unacceptable. There were anywhere from 12 to 19 people in the waiting area at a time waiting for appointments. I don’t know how many providers you have working during the daytime but these waiting times are totally unacceptable I know of one other elderly female that complained there was a patient that was called back ahead of her, she was sitting there when I got there and he came in after me. I don’t have to come back for a year so I am going to seriously explore finding a different office. I have been using the doctors at Midwest Eye Care for at least 20 years. They are excellent but you don’t have enough space and you don’t have enough providers and you don’t have enough staff to serve the many patients you have.

Dr.O’Bryhim is awesome. I called in for a concern about my eye on which I recently had had surgery. Since the symptoms could have been a sign of an emergency, she made room in her busy schedule to see me the same day. Fortunately it wasn’t anything major, and she gave me the piece of mind that my healing process is normal. I am very grateful for her commitment to the patients’ wellbeing and her professionalism.
