Dr. Blake Wittenberg, M.D, M.S, received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. Dr. Wittenberg completed his residency in neurological surgery and completed a fellowship in complex/ deformity spine at the University of Colorado. During his fellowship, he focused on revision spine surgery, deformity correction surgery, spinal oncology, and minimally invasive spinal surgery.

Dr. Blake Wittenberg, M.D, M.S, was born in Lafayette, LA, and raised in Colorado Springs, CO. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. Dr. Wittenberg completed his residency in neurological surgery and completed a fellowship in complex/ deformity spine at the University of Colorado. During his fellowship, he focused on revision spine surgery, deformity correction surgery, spinal oncology, and minimally invasive spinal surgery.
He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
Dr. Wittenberg’s clinical interests include cranial and spine trauma, neuro-oncology, spinal oncology, degenerative spinal disease, spinal deformity, minimally invasive/percutaneous spine surgery, as well as general neurosurgery. He is excited to be able to offer multiple spinal approaches and interventions to best suit the individual patient’s needs.
Outside of his professional life, Dr Wittenberg enjoys spending time with his wife, two young children, and dog. He enjoys fly fishing, hunting, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
