Dr. Blake M. Hampton, M.D. earned a Bachelor of Science in neurobiology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Miami. He received academic scholarship to attend medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He finished his internship year in internal medicine at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then completed his residency in ophthalmology at Nassau University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident during his last year of training.

He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in neurobiology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Miami, graduating magna cum laude. He received a full tuition academic scholarship to attend medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He finished his internship year in internal medicine at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then relocated to New York to complete his residency in ophthalmology at Nassau University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident during his last year of training.
Dr. Hampton is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgeons, and the Refractive Surgery Alliance.
Dr. Hampton practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a particular interest in refractive cataract surgery.
Dr. Hampton recently moved to North Carolina to start a new chapter with his wife, Rhea, who is completing her residency training in otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at Duke University.
In his free time, Dr. Hampton enjoys nature trails, hiking, watching TV series and movies, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
