Blake Boyett, D.O.

Had an appt. scheduled for today, Oct. 15th, for what I thought was to have a procedure done, to take off from work, to get there and it to be a follow up from the procedure I was to have already had done?! Waste if my time today, I understand things happen, just think this could have been avoided! Just want to get help to feel better, for a better quality of life! I don’t hold the doctor accountable, just the people in charge of paper work. 🥹

When I went there Dr. Boyett actually came in the room, sat down, and actually took time to answer my questions. I’ve actually had a doctor come in and never sit down, so I always felt like I was rushed. This doctor was not at TOC. Dr. Boyett answered all my questions, and then when I looked puzzled or had more questions he asked, “what are you thinking about.” Then if I had a comment or question he would speak on the matter. He made it very clear that he actually cares and want to help me. He also didn’t try to throw surgery on me since I am so young with a spinal injury, and he wants to make sure I can keep living my dream as a bull rider. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anybody.

Dr. Blake is a wonderful caring doctor. His staff also. My appointment was scheduled for 1:30 pm, and they called to let me know that he was running behind due to being held up in surgery. Asked if I could come later, no problem. Upon checking in his staff was very friendly and apologized for the delay. Totally understand. That could have been me that had an accident and hopefully other patients would understand accidents happen. Upon Dr. Boyett entering the room he apologized for the delayed time. He didn't get in a hurry to discuss my care and the recomendations that I felt comfortable with. Would definitley refer other patients.

Dr Blake Boyett did my ACDF surgery a little over two weeks ago. I really didn't know what to expect regarding pain as each person is different. I have been virtually pain free from the time I came out of surgery until present. I would definitely recommend Dr Blake Boyett for your spinal problems or needed surgery!

Dr Boyett is a wonderful back surgeon. I am thankful for his surgical expertise in performing the 360 fusion on my lower spine. There may be a longer wait then you are use to in the waiting room but his staff (P.A. and nurses) couldn't be more efficient once you are called back. The only snafu I experienced was in getting physical therapy started after surgery but that was quickly corrected at my 6 week check up.

EVERYTIME you go for a visit you must check yourself in through one of three kiosks which demand your credentials be SCANNED front and back. Then you're in a LARGE waiting room that's FULL of UNMASKED coughing, wheeezing patients! I waited ONE and a half HOURS before being called into an exam room where I waited another HOUR before the Dr. came in! UNEXCUSABLE! MY TIME is also WORTH MONEY!

I arrived around 12:40 P.M. and didn't get to see his assistant until 4:00 ish so my main complaint is that while I was in bad pain the whole time sitting in the office chairs only caused my spine pain much worse for that length of time to where I actually became nauseous to nearly throwing up in the back waiting room waiting to see someone. That's basically my only complaint was waiting for hours was unimaginable for anyone in such bad spinal pain.

I'm sorry but I came in 3 times and the 1st time told the nurse prac.. that I was having serious pain from the center of my back up. Finally after getting the MRI I hoped we were getting somewhere, Then finally meting the Dr. in Athens it appeared to be you were looking at my original surgeries. I never complained about, Dr.Cradock fixed that part of my spine. I filled out 3 questioners explaining I was having trouble to me mid to upper spine. I was diagnosed with Scoliosis and Dystonia . The day I saw you I did not know what to say because you were in the wrong

Blake Boyett is one of if not the absolute beat spine surgeons in North Alabama. He explains everything so you fully understand. He has extensive training for modern medicine which can provide better outcomes. I recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Dr. B was patient and explained my issue thoroughly. Please, someone, get a can of WD-40 and lubricate the hinges on TOC's office doors. Good experience otherwise.

Best Dr ever with wonderful personality and great care for his patients

He tells you what’s going on with you in terns you understand clearly. He tries to take care of your problems promptly.

Very professional and actually listens to your concerns. He is very knowledgeable and looks at the whole picture to find a solution. I highly recommend him as a doctor.

The first time I was there, I waited for almost three hours, then I waited another hour in the patient room, My second visit I was there over 3 hours. I have a job that requires my presence, and I have to use my leave accruals. I am 52 years old, and I have never experienced this before, neither personally nor when I join my parents for their appointments.

Dr. Boyette is a very talented surgeon, and fixed my 25+year back problems.

Long wait after check in and in the room!

Didn’t spend much time on follow up after surgery

I had appointment today, this Dr did not even have the professional courtesy to come and meet me. He let his PA do everything. I would have understood if they said he was working a critical issue but I got no explanation. Just a come back in 2 weeks for Dr to see you. I was called back 30 mins after appointment time and it took 2 hrs.

Wait time for appointments are excessively long.

I was there for over 2 hours. While I am satisfied with the treatment I received I believe wiser use of time could benefit patients and staff members. 2 hours is too long.
