Dr. Yu was inspired to get into healthcare because of sports medicine. He says learning to treat, manage and prevent future injuries is a unique side of medicine. His professional interests include comprehensive podiatric care, wound care as well as community service and outreach.
He chose to work at a community health center to be a part of an organization providing comprehensive, dependable and affordable quality health care in a caring environment. He believes educating patients about their medical issues is key to building a strong bond. After discussing treatment options, he wants the patient to make their own informed medical decision and believes in delivering quality care every time.
He wants patients to refer their friends and family because they were so happy with their own results and believes healthy feet are the foundation of a healthy body.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Yu likes to participate in triathlons and has an interest in macroeconomics. He also speaks fluent Cantonese.
