Very professional and courteous staff.I’m not ready to have the cataract surgery at this time, but I plan to see Dr. Haguewood in 6-12 months for a fulll pre op evaluation and to schedule the surgery.

All staff very knowledgeable and kind.. Dr Haguewood was excellent answered all my questions.. Due to my coming in office very stressed about my upcoming cataract surgery my mind was put at ease.. I believe I will be in good hands !🤗🤗🤗

Dr. Billy J. Haguewood, M.D. joined Palmetto Eye & Laser Center in 2002 and has quickly established a large and highly successful ophthalmology practice. He participated in research programs concerning Intraocular Lens Design and Implantation, Corneal Epithelial Defects and Continuous Monitoring of Intraocular Pressure.
Dr. Haguewood received the Thomas Frey Award from the Virginia Society of Ophthalmology in 2001. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American Medical Association. Dr. Haguewood is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Spartanburg County Medical Society and is a member of the South Carolina Medical Society.
