He treated me off the bat like I was an alcoholic because I have cirrhosis. I do not drink now or at any time in my life. I have had abnormal liver enzymes since I was 19 years old. I am also obese, but eat far less than the average person. Eating only 1100 to 1200 calories a day, I still can’t lose weight. I am proud I am down from 300 pounds to a fluctuating weight between 222 and 225.5 pounds on my home scale. Once thin, I have struggled with my weight since my early twenties. I went into his office hopeful to schedule knee surgery. He was not kind. My husband disliked his treatment of me right off the bat.

Dr. Huang has recently replace my other knee. I cannot imagine a better surgeon. He is a trained biomedical engineer and researcher, as well as a fully trained knee and hip replacement specialist. At 4 weeks post-op my recovery is going even better than with the first knee. I would very strongly recommend Dr. Huang to any family!

This doctor is conservative- careful and mindful of what would be best for me. He was the one doctor to give me the advice to stop riding horses for, after hip replacement, an accident could cripple me. He and the team who works for him educate and follow up and provide the best care. And, all who work for him, praise him and bring their family members to him. I interviewed three other well thought of surgeons before him—- I picked him, and I am glad I did.

Dr. Bill Huang came heavily recommended, so it was a real relief to find he was already an approved provider under my medical insurance. My hip replacement procedure went flawlessly, I had no complications, and everyone I dealt with in the EBJ building was professional, helpful, and kind. I'm 4 months post surgical, and have full use of my hip/leg again. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Rude, was abrupt and annoyed because I thought the extreme pain I was having was a problem with my hip replacement. He walked in the room and said so.. what’s going on?! I started explaining the pain I was having that I thought was coming from my hip and he interrupted and rehemently explained “the X-ray shows the replacement is fine, I am leaving tonight for vacation and had to fit you in to verify it’s not the hip!” Then proceeded to say you have a lumbar strain. He was very abrupt and annoyed, so much so that I found myself apologizing for taking his time…I am giving 2 stars because he at least gave me a prescription for the pain I was having. Literally 5 minutes of him just defending his replacement never listened to me or cared to ask anything further? Hopefully is quick rude diagnoses was correct. I guess time will tell.

Dr. Huang gave me a perfect knee revision. I couldn’t be happier. He is also a kind and caring man. He was concerned and caring about my heart problem even though he is not a cardiac dr. He showed me some heartfelt concern

Listened and had reviewed all my previous X-ray. Very informative and easy to communicate.

The only problem after my surgery was once I was put in my room, they ignored me for 3.5 hours. They didn't even bother to hang up my IV.
