Dr. Beth Buchanan is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in family practice at Community Hospital of Indianapolis and is board certified in family medicine. Before coming to MHP in 2016, Dr. Buchanan practiced for several years in Hancock County and then spent three years with Eskenazi Health at their clinic on the eastside of Indianapolis. She has a special interest in hospice care and loves the opportunity to provide care for her patients through the continuum of life.
She and her husband live in Indianapolis and enjoy antiques and spending time with their five children and three grandchildren. Dr. Buchanan is an IU basketball enthusiast, and has been a season ticket holder for the Indiana Fever WNBA team since their inaugural season. She is a long-term member of her church's children’s committee and helps direct their annual children’s musical.

Sr Buchanan spends a great deal of time at each visit. I have never felt rushed.

Dr Buchanan is a very caring doctor. She spends time with her patients and gets to know them. She listened to my concerns and addressed them. She is a great asset to MHP

Doc Beth is a TRUE ANGEL ON EARTH- always so thorough, always so kind, always asks the tough questions, with kind solutions - never ever do I feel rushed or dismissed. Again, Doc Beth is a true Angel on this Earth. I just love her (& her staff).

I love Dr. Buchanan. She takes time to learn about me personally. I am never treated like cattle (in and out). I totally believe she cares about me.
Dr Buchanan is open honest friendly warm logical smart and a great listener. She always gives you the time you need. Have been going to see her for 26 years and will never stop until she retires!!
I just love her. I appreciate all the time she takes to make sure she’s covering all the problems I’m having. I don’t feel like a number to her. I feel like she really cares.
