Excellent attention to my health and changes I need to make for better health. She was behind in appointments, but life happens when others need more time for their health. No biggie. I’m appreciative to being able to see her no matter if I have to wait. My health depends on both of us working together.

My appointment was disappointing. Dr. Bartholomew’s attitude was condescending in that she wondered why I was there, insinuating that because I had no critical health issues I was wasting her time. When I asked about having the main arteries in my neck checked she told me if a problem was found there would be no surgery for me because I’m old & fragile( not). I felt insulted and saddened as through the years I have had great respect for her. She’d been my late husbands Dr, then mine and I was out of the area for ten years after died and when I returned two years ago, I started seeing her again. I have the impression she doesn’t want old people for her patients. I Won’t see her again.

50% BLOCKAGE? Besides cutting back on some cholesterol and walking more often, can this blockage be reduced? What do I do? It sounds dangerous.

This was the 3rd visit to this office. Second time seeing Dr Bartholomew. No examination was completed at either visit other than listening to lungs. Chart was sent over by previous cardiologist as requested and it was obvious that it had not been reviewed by Dr. Bartholomew until the visit. Perhaps this is how she treats all Medicare patients.
