Dr. Schayes received his M.D. from the University of Bucharest. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Nassau County Medical Center in New York. He is currently a board member at Emblem/GHI and a chairman of the company’s Medical Quality Committee. He has served on an executive panel focused on improving healthcare quality at Aetna/US Healthcare. Dr. Schayes is a clinical assistant professor of family & community at New York Medical College, a member of the Touro College and University system.

Dr. Schayes is a GREAT doctor!! He takes great care of me when I go to his office for a medical visit, and takes lots of time answering any questions or concerns that I have. if I have any concerns at night time, I call him, and he answers my questions immediately.He also has a GREAT staff working for him. Out of a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest rating, Dr. Schayes is a 25!!
