Dr. Burns Dr. Burns where to begin? This guy is the best .. saved my leg from operator error of a motorcycle. The 'Chopper-Crash" as I refer to it.. a telephone pole being my nemesis .. brought me under his talented care where I was healed and given a second chance at a normal life. Most likely I would have lost the limb under the knife of anyone else but he pulled off the impossible and I walk again. The very best we have in orthopedic trauma care hands down. My hero!

Dr. Burns made me feel extremely comfortable and gave me hope about my situation. I’ve never had a serious injury or been through surgery before so I really had no idea what to expect. The surgery process was still terrifying for me, but Dr Burns did an amazing job and I’m on the mend now. He’s also very good about answering any post op questions and explaining things further over the phone. Very fortunate to have ended up with Dr Burns as my surgeon.

While Dr Burns was running behind schedule, I couldn't have asked for a better consult. I came in with a fractured clavicle that the ER staff assumed would need surgery. After talking me through the history of clavicle repairs, Dr Burns assured me that the decision was mine in the end, but that if he had the same injury, he wouldn't want surgery. Because of that, I can't say how the surgery would have gone, but with his no BS approcach and willingness to help a patient come to the righ

Dr. Burns is knowledgeable, competent, and extremely empathetic. He makes you feel like a person instead of an insurance number like some medical professionals. Other medical professionals, at times, have a tendancy to treat patients like drug seekers when asking for pain to be treated which has been my experience in the past. Dr. Burns does not do that at all. He also has great bedside manor which is important for me especially when in pain or hospitalized on an inpatient basis. 10/10 would recommend.

All of my visits with Dr. Burns have been positive. However, what stands out is that I have never felt rushed. The first time my husband and I met him in his office after surgery I was anxious to know if the broken bones were healing properly and they were. He said he would talk about that soon but he liked to spend a few minutes getting to know his patients. That spoke volumes.

Dr Burns explains my x-rays and reviews my physical progress. He answers My questions that I have with explanations for anything's I might be unsure of.

My wife saw Dr Burns with me on Monday. I haven't been able to get a copy of the exercises or treatment plan yet. Aveanna home health has stopped by the last two days and the physical therapist today said she doesn't have anything to start therapy. Hopefully by Monday they will have a treatment plan to start therapy. We have lost a week except for the couple of things I have been doing that Dr Burns showed us.
