I wanted to write my review for Dr. Sheffer as well as Dr. Dawson (we saw at the Arlington clinic). My review for Dr. Dawson had expired and I wanted it to be known. Dr. Sheffer was great and attentive to Lucy. His nurses were amazing and kind to Lucy. They quickly referred us where we needed to go and got us the help we needed for a correct diagnosis. I wanted to thank them for their efficiency and care. Dr. Dawson, however, completely dismissed my concerns for my daughter, ignored warning signs for JIA (Lucy’s official diagnosis), put her in a cast for THREE weeks that she didn’t need, and sent us home with no answers and my daughter still in pain. Had I not continued to pursue an answer myself, my daughter would still be in pain, undiagnosed, and have potential growth issues. His work was completely unacceptable and I would not recommend him to anyone. I’d write more if I could.

Dr.Sheffer is a great doctor. My eight year old daughter being going to him now for years for a foot disorder, and he’s really good with kids. He gives me all the information to understand what’s going on and ways to help my child. I love Dr.Sheffer.

We met with Dr. Sheffer and he immediately came up with a plan to successfully repair her arm. From the first consultation to her last visit, he has been an absolute delight. He took his time and talked with me and my daughter about a difficult diagnosis and help us come to terms with something we really didn't want to hear.

I felt the doctor should’ve been more interested in looking at my son fracture area…he only pushed a lil on it but never physically looked at the area..what if it was swollen or bruised etc. didn’t recommend anything to do far as exercise or even for pain…we need more information on the situation and he didn’t give that !! He even suggested that my 14 yr old didn’t need crutches…I’m not the professional but I felt like he needs them to heal in the right way.
