Dr. Benjamin Panter makes every effort to keep his patients informed. His goal is to focus on improving quality of life and longevity while providing patients a basic understanding of their distinctive situation. Dr. Panter knows too well what it feels like to be faced with orthopedic issues. As a talented student-athlete, he incurred a variety of injuries. He believes his personal involvement on the 'patient side' due to sports injury increased his awareness of the patient experience, which contributed to a more sympathetic perspective when working with patients as a physician.

Dr. Panter was raised in Stillwell, Oklahoma and knew at a young age he wished to be a doctor. He vividly remembers watching his father's ACL surgery video over and over again. His areas of interest include Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Trauma, but he treats various orthopedic needs, with the exception of necks and backs. Dr. Panter is a proud member of the 2000 OU National Championship Football Team and serves as Team Physician for OU Soccer and Tennis. In his spare time, he follows OU Football, enjoys golf and spending quality time with his family.

I could tell immediately that he was an excellent doctor
Very comfortable with the doc
Rudest and most hateful person.
Deborah Leming Post LTKA I was seen at your hospital on Wednesday 11/5 for knee surgery and returned home from hospital on Thursday. I never saw any surgeon or his PA while I was in hospital - at least not while I was conscious. (Someone did text or call my son after the operation was done.) By Saturday morning I felt unusually tired and weak but chalked that up to having just gone through a major operation. By Saturday afternoon I noticed I was feeling short of breath on exertion . I went onto the hospital portal and checked my labs. I discovered that on the morning I was sent home (without having seen a doctor) my Hgb was 9.5, Hct was 31, and RBC was low. Going back to my pre-op CBC, my HGB was 11.4. I had also documented a history of anemia on my pre surgery forms. I expected better care than this from a “premier orthopedic hospital.” Shouldn’t someone have reviewed my labs before I was discharged? Shouldn’t I have seen a physician (continued)
Dr. Panter is a delight to be around. Professional, engaging, and does and excellent job of explaining what my medical conditions are and how to correct or improve my quality of life.
He replaced my left knee better so far
I did not lay eyes on Dr. Panter during my stay, but his PA Stephen was good.
Dr Panter really listens to his patients. He is very professional and knowledgeable. His staff is friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience. I would recommend to friends and family.
He is a very good Dr.
Very kind and knowledgeable!
