It's over! When he came in to my room a couple hours post-op wearing a big smile, I knew it went well. No hip joint pain at all; just some muscle aching that eases off with 5-10 minutes of walking every 1-2 hours. He said I can do any movement that doesn't cause pain! My energy will be low for a month, I'm told. Today, I plan to sit on the front porch and soak up the sun.
