Team is great!!
Dr Domb is a wonderful gifted surgeon but the American Hip Institute is horrible to work with. We waited over an hour and a half AGAIN to be seen. We see a different PA every time we are there and it’s like they don’t even read the chart before they see us. In over three years I don’t think we have ever seen the same person and they usually start with the initial ‘so, you are here because you are having hip pain’ sentence. It’s been four years and three surgeries. Simply read the chart before you come into the room. The questionnaires that we get have no relevance to our try daily life. Billing and insurance will NEVER call you back no matter how many messages you leave with them. The service we have gotten has declined year after year. And it’s too bad because he is the best around. I would no longer refer anyone to The American Hip Institute anymore because of the service that you get there.
He literally gave me 10 years of my life back with the repair of my hip after a major motor vehicle accident. Now I need a replacement, but I wouldn’t consider anyone but him for the surgery.
Complete and thorough evaluation of both hips with concrete plan in place. The practice is extremely well organized. The initial evaluation by Mike the PA was detailed with review of imaging and discussion of likely treatment options. Dr. Domb then explained the issues reinforcing what Mike explained. Follow up plan is detailed with work up in progress.
Friendly knowledgeable and professional
