I left my appointment feeling comfortable regarding my upcoming cataract surgeries. My Optometrist told me she was sending me to one of the best eye surgeons! I'm convinced she's right on target!

With an emergency of something in my eye that eye drops wouldn’t wash out for 2 days, I was truly desperate. Dr Currie worked me into his schedule, and all is well. I’m so relieved, and my bruised eye will heal soon. Dr Currie is my hero!

Well, he was 20 minutes late. I sat in the exam room by myself for 20 minutes after his tech was finished with the preliminary exam. Then during the exam his concern for my discomfort was completely absent. No warning for how much discomfort I would be in when he turned my eyelid inside out and prodded with a swab. In fact many hours later my eye still hurts. After his exam tears streamed down my face. I would think offering a tissue to the patient would be standard practice. I eventually wiped the tears with my hand.
