The best Primary Doctor I’ve Had

I really appreciate him as a Dr. My previous Dr. that I went to for 25yrs was a friend and it was great having that personal care. When he retired I went through four Dr's. before I tried Cooke. I am very happy with his level of care. It feels sincere.

Being available on Saturday for a phone appointment was great. His ability to listen and respond is amazing. He is never condescending. His candor is always appreciated

Always a pleasure to visit my Dr. the girls are always so nice as well, feel very comfortable when talking to the dr.

Didn't appreciate having vaccines and several medications pushed on me that I didn't need. After declining he still pushed and I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong by not going along with it. I will never return to this doctor. This is what is wrong with the system! Doctors pushing meds that aren't necessary. Seriously. Pushing. Unreal.

He's great! He doesn't give you what you wanna hear and definitely tells you like it is.

Dr. Cooke is very personable, listens to your medical complaints, and takes action to try and resolve your medical issues right away. With many doctors, you feel rushed so you forget everything you wanted to ask, and often you end up feeling like you wait months just trying to get a health problem taken care of. I was looking for a new primary care provider. Dr. Cooke seemed nice enough but I got the feeling he didn't want me as his patient because he suggested I stay with my present care provider, even after I expressed my dissatisfaction with that Dr. He also stated that his contract was going to be up in Sept. ..however he did provide me with new blood presure meds.

I've been a patient of Dr. Cooke for three years. He listens to all my concerns and his care is so professional. A+ Rating Thank you Dr. Cooke for being caring physician!

Dr. Cooke is great. He remembered who I was after not seeing me for almost a year. He always makes time to talk to me and make sure everything is alright. He listens to all my concerts and talks to me about possible causes and solutions.

Disappointed is the best I can offer. It took two months to schedule a yearly medicare Check up. Doctor seemed to tentative and articulate. But cut our appointment short so he could attend to other patients...maybe 15 minutes with doc. Said his partner doctor quit and he was seeing forty patients daily. He failed to ask about refills of maintenance meds. When I called office to for refill, staff was not inclined to help. When pushed About refill and second drug on backorder. They relented & got refill 2 days later but failed to get back regarding backordered replacement prescription. It appears there are problems with CHC this doctor can not overcome.

He is thoughtful and a great listener.

He is all business but also listening Gets to the issue and moves forward without hesitation. I feel very confident in his ability.

He’s a good doc

Today was my first visit and everything went really well. I finally found a good Doctor in North County.

Dr. Cooke is always friendly but still efficient, though he doesn't make you feel too rushed to remember everything you wanted to tell him, like some docs tend to do. Staff was friendly, too.

Dr. Cooke took his time. Listened. Went into depth when needed. Was encouraging and very helpful.

Just not there not interested didn't want to listen to me short answered and didn't seem concerned about the pain I was in but that's typical of doctors up here they cause more drug addictions than actually helping people get rid of their pain

Horrible bedside manner. Made me feel terrible about being on the medication I’m on for my mental health. Mine you that works for me. That my original doctor and I have me on ( thank God for her ) he was rude and made me feel horrible that I take what I do. What doctor does that?! And this was the first meeting! I was just seeing him so he could do a refill. Never did he ask why I took them. Just tried to convince me that I shouldn’t.

With Dr. Cooke, I have no problem. However, their office needs to get it together! On the online portal, I made an appointment for a pap smear, for him to look at an abscess behind my ear, possibly freeze off a spot on my leg and I had an abdominal ultrasound that I wanted to go over with him. I must have asked the girl at least 5 times if they had received my ultrasound results...no answer. Also, at my previous appointment, Dr. Cooke had said he would do a pap smear for me with no problem. However, this woman online gave me all kinds of grief. Saying I could go to the woman Doctor there at CHC or I could find a gynecologist. I told her no, I wanted Doctor Cooke to do it and he had said he would. Ok, sure fine, she schedules it. In the meantime, I have to print out my results to take to him because I can't get a straight answer as to rather they received them or not. A week before my appointment, it gets canceled. A couple of days later a woman from CHC calls to reschedule. I asked he
