Ben is knowledgeable, reassuring, realistic and frank when it is appropriate. He gives his patients a good sense of what to expect and how best to deal with a prognosis. He does not default to “get surgery “. He wants what is in the best interest of his patients.

He never came into the room. A nurse came in, prescribed medication, which was never sent to the pharmacy.

these stars are for the whole office and not just the doctor The doctor seems confident enough and has a lovely manner. However, The brace we were given for my daughter was not the right size and proportion for her and caused her a lot of pain. My daughter is 15 and has small bones and the brace she was given, the only brace they had on hand to give her, was suitable for a man, yet this was a pediatric orthopedist. I recognize that this is not the fault of the physician but of the facility and probably the unfortunate limitation of budget. We like the office atmosphere we like the demeanor and treatment of the staff and the doctor,. My daughter felt firmly that she would’ve been better off with a full cast going up to the elbow so that her wrist would be completely isolated and supported, a brace on such a new injury is perhaps not isolating enough and acts more like an extra weight on the injured wrist than a support to it. Just a thought…

When I knew I needed surgery, Dr. Bedford took his time to answer all my questions and explain a complicated procedure (a tibial tubercle osteotomy) in a way that I could understand. He and his staff have always been kind, helpful, and responsive. I didn't want to have a surgery, but I needed it and I feel lucky to have found such a great team to take care of me.

Doctor Bedford truly Is one of the best Surgeons/Doctors I have had the pleasure to be part of my healing process. I had had multiple injuries with my shoulders, elbow and wrist. Most recently I experienced some pain and a lump on my shoulder and Dr. Bedford was quick to put my mind at ease and diagnose the issue and to help facilitate getting my MRI scheduled. His team is wonderful, very friendly, professional and they care about each person who comes in to the office.
