Dr Bedford just performed a total knee replacement on my left side only hours ago. Last year at this time Dr Bedford performed a total knee replacement on my right side. So pleased with the entire experience and surgery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am so impressed with Dr Bedford and his practice. He is so highly experienced and professional. Easy to talk with, terrific bedside manner and in my opinion the best in the business! Next year I will ask him to repair my torn rotator cuff with a completely separated tendon.There is no one else I would consider to be my surgeon.

Dr. Bedford and his staff were all wonderful. It was my first time there and everyone was so warm and welcoming! I will definitely go back to him!

Great experience today here at NYO. Met with at least 4 members of his team that performed different functions for my care starting with the warm reception from the wonderful receptionist who was very patiet in helping me get registered and checked in. Then to Jose answering the many questions That I had today, from screening me, to Xray tech, to triage nurse, to last but not least: The Final Boss... Dr. B.B.B. Who was so nice and professionally explained exactly what's going on with me. How my procedure is going to go and what my next steps afterwards. I'm telling you I never had treatment like this before EVER! They moved with the speed and accuracy of a NASCAR pit team yet the precision and care of a Michelin 3 Star Restaurant. I started to feel better as soon as I got home. I wanted to stop and pick up a few groceries in the supermarket, but I knew I needed to go home and rest immediately. Kudos to Dr. Bedford and his wonderful team. I trust that they're going to guide me throug

Dr. Benjamin Bedford is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of all sports-related injuries as well as arthroscopic and open treatment of knee, ankle, shoulder and elbow injuries. He also performs joint replacement for arthritis of the hip, knee and shoulder. Dr. Bedford has presented research and instructional lectures at numerous orthopedic conferences and has authored research articles in topics related to orthopedics and sports medicine. He currently performs clinical research at the Nicholas Institute for Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma (NISMAT) and maintains a special interest in the treatment of throwing athletes, including ligament injuries and cartilage defects.
A native of Bedford, New York, Dr. Bedford attended Fox Lane High School. He graduated cum laude from Middlebury College in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and was a four-year member of the varsity baseball team. He continued his education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, graduating in 2004. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City where he was chief resident from 2008 to 2009.
Dr. Bedford then completed a sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama under the direction of James R. Andrews, M.D. There he received specialty training in advanced techniques in arthroscopic surgery. During this time he also participated in the care of athletes from the Alabama Ballet, Auburn University, Birmingham Barons (AA affiliate of the Chicago White Sox), Tuskegee University, University of Alabama and the Washington Redskins
