In addition to being a brilliant surgeon, he just a nice guy. He shows me the x-rays, explains what I'm seeing, and outlines treatment options.

He actually talks to me instead of clicking away on a laptop and saying um hm um hm

Dr. Puckett did an amazing job on my shoulder, mobility is getting better no pain at all not on any drugs. His support staff has been extremely helpful. I recommend using Dr. pocket.

I have been going to Dr. Puckett for several years. He has done several arm surgeries on me. His bed side manor is great and he does not treat you like a number. My wife also is seeing him from injuries related to a bad accident. The wait time varies but I don’t recall a time where he had to wait more than 10 minutes past the initial appointment time. My appointment was at 2:50. I waited until about 3:15, was taken to get an X-ray, then waited until 3:50 to see the doctor, he saw me about 5 min. And said he would be back. A nurse came to put on a splint and said goodbye at 4:10! I understand how busy they are, but no one apologized for my having to wait.

I waited 2 hours for a 5 minute consultation with Dr. Puckett. My appointment was at 3:40 pm, I arrived at 3:41 pm. Waited till 4:50 pm to be called back and put in another room to wait again! I actually fell asleep in the waiting room! When I was graced with Dr Puckett's presence, after 5:15 pm, the consultation was so fast and nothing was resolved that I resolved to search for another physician. Sorry, but even if you are a physician (I grew up in a family of physicians) there is no need to believe that you walk on water! Specialty Orthopedics treats their patients like they should be thankful that they are able to be patients of their practice. There are too many options out there nowadays.

Gifted surgeon and great demeanor!

I'm not sure why I'm rating Dr. Puckett as Very Good. He seemed friendly and took the time to show me my xray and explain next steps, but I only saw him once and then only for maybe 5 to 7 minutes tops. I will add that I preferred his approach when compared to the other clinical staff. They were much more interested in "hanging out" with each other than attending to the patients.

The injections hurt but I really am praying that they will heal my problems in my right shoulder.

Dr Puckett is a 5 for sure. He’s very caring and personable. The problem I had was w the exam Rm. The wrinkled paper from the former pt was hanging off the table and the black table in the Rm looked like it needed to be washed off as it was covered in finger prints. Nurses or techs were in and out of the Rm waiting for the Dr or one thing or other snd could have easily tidied up the rm. with Covid around the prints on the table espec bothered me. I only sat in a chair, didn’t have to get on the table zoom
