Ben Houle, M.D.

I went to Washington Co Hospital clinic for a 2:15 appointment. I arrived at 1:45 and checked in, I was put in an exam room at 2:06 and exactly one hour later I opened the door and asked if they had forgotten me, I could hear the doctor talking to patients and I know he saw at least four patients while I sat in the exam room waiting. Apparently, he either didn’t want to see me or they don’t have the concept that you alternate exams rooms, not just keep going into one exam room. I got tired of waiting so I left,

I had been in terrible pain with walking and hip x-rays show problems. I was ready to have replacement, and my first visit to meet him, he made decision in reviewing films, no physical exam or watching me walk. I explained my personal life, very active and caregiver to folks 100 miles away, good window of time to have it taken care of. He insisted try injection. Against my desire, I did, lasted 6 weeks and now in as much pain. It wasn't an answer, like putting band-aid on a fracture.
