1st appointment with Dr Bradenham but left his office feeling confident in him that he will see me through it all and get to the source of my sickness and get back to feeling well again

I wasn't rushed through my appointment. He answered all my questions and acting like I was his only appointment for the day.

Professional, pleasant, explained his thoughts. Made me feel better about something I did not want to do!

The whole procedure went well. The staff was helpful, patient, and kind.

He is so wonderful. He listened to everything I had to say and was very knowledgeable. He knew the answer to every question I had. He’s very down to earth and personable. Wonderful bedside manner. I am new to the whole GI thing and he explained everything so thoroughly in a way that I could understand. Will definitely see him again!

It would be nice if at least the receptionists said, " Good Morning," Hello or just gave a smile to show that you are welcome there. Also, for those of us who came over on the Ark, it would be nice to have the choice of having the "old fashioned sheets" to fill out or at least have someone help us navigate the computer patients are given to give meds they are taking, etc.

Dr Bradenham was great. Very informative

The woman who helped me after my procedure was rude and very short with me. My findings were not explained to me sufficiently and should not be left to someone as impatient as her. I had a lot going on and I don’t appreciate how the information was explained. Again, she was very rude to me!

Hot fast, spent a lot of time typing and not making eye contact, and when I express concerns or had questions, he didn't take the time to explain why he didn't think they were valid he just said they weren't a concern. I felt like I was in a processing plant.

The staff as well as Dr. Bradenham were so welcoming and warm. They really alleviated my fears and were kind from start to finish.

Dr Bradenham was thorough, informative and very friendly. He discovered an issue I didn’t know I was having and I’m going to physical therapy for it. Most grateful!!

Dr Bradenham gave me a thorough report after my colonoscopy. I do so wish that there was a doctor who could help me find and fix the root cause of my chronic constipation and IMO/ SIBO. Dr Bradenham’s original treatment was simply to have me overdose on Miralax. That was disturbing.

It was okay. I told him i didnt want to be on miralax again and he triple dosed me on it…

I just met Dr . Bradenham Jr. , I was a patient of his father and I wanted to continue with his service and I appreciated the thorough way he communicated with me the procedure that he says I'm going to need and how he's not concerned or worried about how my outcome will be. I just have to go through the testing and see where we go from there. But I'm not happy about having to wait until June to get the test done. My overall experience was great 👍.

Made diagnosis without any testing or thorough examination. Wrote a script and sent me on my way. Liked him personally but did not feel like he tried to look at possible options just made a sap diagnosis.

I drove two hours to see him, passing up UVA and NOVA medical practitioners based on personal references and reviews written by past and current patients. I couldn’t be happier. FIVE STARS. I recommend Dr. Bradenham to anyone in need of gastrointestinal diagnosis and care.

Great Doc, I met him and within 5 minutes I was out.

Dr. Bradenham was pleasant and funny, however, he was completely dismissive regarding the spot on my pancreas, telling us that it was “nothing to be concerned about” and “too small to be cancer and to have metastasized.” I know now that is completely ridiculous! There is no way to know if anything is cancer without pathology. They could not get a copy of my MRI during my visit and even without that he still sent me home with no follow up except a colonoscopy that they couldn’t get me in for until September! Four months later! This visit was a complete waste of time. I have since learned that I have a tumor on my pancreas and need a biopsy and possibly surgery to resect it. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I had followed his advice and followed up a YEAR later with another CT scan. I could be dead by then. Pancreatic cancer is not something you want your doctor to be conservative about. I would rather error on the side of caution. I think most patients would too.

Wonder explanation of treatment and the office visit experience was great.

I am a new patient of Dr. Bradenham's having had two different GI doctors since moving to VA (both with Gastro VA. One retired, the other moved). I had never met Dr. Bradenham prior to my procedure, but he was warm and comforting. I look forward to him being my primary GA doctor.

As a nurse I’ve worked with many doctors. And usually when I’m a patient, I try to steer away from having a MD as my specialist and ask for their NP. I do this because most MD’s have the worst bedside manner and come off as not caring about their patients. Today I had my first appointment with Dr. Bradenham and I immediately could tell he was different. You can tell he loves his job and truly wants to help his patients. Glad I was referred to him!

The staff and Dr. Bradenham were great. I'm disappointed my wife was kicked out of the waiting room at 3:30 because the office was closing. My procedure didn't take place until 4:00. She had to sit in the car for an hour in the parking lot. You require people to take patients home, they should be able to stay in the building until the patient is ready to leave.

Sorry but my appointment was scheduled at 10:30. I arrived at 10:00 when requested. Only two patients ahead of me. Asked about being seen at 11:00. Escorted to patient room and left there for another 30+ minutes. Over an hour past my appointment time. Doctor apologized for the delay but I lost an hour of my life waiting. And I paid the office to do this. Frustrating.

No problem with doc; I was told to arrive 30 minutes early to do paperwork that took 5 minutes; in addition to those wasted minutes,it was another hour and six minutes before I saw the doctor for 10 minutes.
