I cannot recommend Dr. Phillips highly enough. After struggling with tennis elbow, I found exactly the kind of physician every patient hopes for - someone who combines exceptional medical knowledge with genuine care for his patients.
What sets Dr. Phillips apart is his ability to be both efficient and thorough. Every appointment was prompt and well-organized, yet I never felt rushed. He explained my condition in terms I could understand, offering insightful perspectives on treatment options that went beyond just prescribing medication or basic rest.
The doctor's approachable demeanor made it easy to ask questions and discuss concerns. His extensive knowledge of tennis elbow and related conditions was evident, but more importantly, he took the time to ensure I understood my treatment plan and felt confident moving forward.
Thanks to his expert care and guidance, my tennis elbow has improved significantly. I'm grateful to have him as my Doctor

Very easy to talk to. Did a thorough exam and explained his course of treatment very well. Only reason it isn’t a 5 is the length of wait in the exam room was 40 minutes.

He didn’t even let me show him what my shoulders did in my sleep and cut me off when he asked me to explain about what’s going on with my shoulders….. maybe he was having a bad day..?? He also seemed skeptical about my genetic diagnosis I received from Vanderbilt genetics…. I felt belittled… and he felt he didn’t really have any concern….while waiting to receive what I thought would be a shoulder brace to support both shoulders so that my circulation would not cut off the blood flow in my sleep , instead I was handed a picture of a shoulder brace and told to go get it at Walmart or order one off Amazon….. I am on disability and my insurance would have covered the brace so why are they sending you away now without braces…? It took all my energy to make it to that appointment- any of my appointments if that- and this just felt like I wasted my time… I have a shoulder brace that doesn’t even work…. Whole reason I was there…. Super disappointed…..All I can do is send up a prayer for him….
