Dr. B. Collier Watson, D.O. is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in disorders of the foot and ankle. Raised in Blakely, Georgia, he received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Georgia in 2006. Afterward he attended the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine on the campus of Virginia Tech, graduating in 2010. He next moved to Columbus, Ohio where he did his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Doctors Hospital/Ohio University COM and went on to complete a one-year orthopaedic foot and ankle fellowship at the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center.
Dr. Watson has expertise in both common and complex disorders of the foot and ankle. His primary clinical interest is in foot and ankle reconstruction, including total ankle replacement, deformity correction, trauma, and sports-related injuries/disorders of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Watson is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. In his spare time, Dr. Watson enjoys exercising, being outdoors, spending time with his family, and following collegiate sports, especially his beloved Georgia Bulldogs.

I've never had a doctor tell me that he treats the patient, not the test; but that's exactly what he told me. The test showed that the pain should be somewhere else, but the worst pain was somewhere else. Gave me some things that will hopefully help the pain, but said I should call back if I'm still in pain after that. He actually listened and seemed to care, which has been a rare instance when I've mentioned pain to a doctor. His PA was also very nice and knowledgeable.
Excellent doctor! Knowledgable, very easy to talk too! He is experienced & I trusted him completely through 2 different foot surgeries I had.
Dr. Collier was very professional with great bedside manner from my very first visit on up to my outpatient procedure. He explained everything he would be doing with the procedure to my ankle and answered my questions.

He seemed concerned. He explain what was wrong and what he could do to try to help with the issue. Put me in a boot to take the pressure off my ankle. I sure hope this work have to go back in some weeks.
The office operates efficiently, timing was good. Your front office staff makes patients comfortable. The X-ray tech was courteous & professional.

I am very impressed with Doc Watson. Not only does he have a great bedside manner, and is thorough, .but his surgical skills and technique as well. And I would recommend Dr. Watson to anyone in need of orthopedic surgery for an ankle.
