I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional, welcoming, and efficient, which immediately put me at ease.
The doctor took the time to truly listen to my concerns and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, never making me feel rushed. Their expertise is evident, but it’s the combination of technical skill and a genuine, compassionate bedside manner that really sets them apart.

Dr. Austin Lutz joined the Associated Urologists of Nashville after training in New Orleans at the Ochsner-Louisiana State University program. He is originally from Birmingham, Alabama, and attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where he earned a B.S. followed by his M.D. at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). Dr. Lutz decided to move back to his hometown and joined the Urology Centers of Alabama in 2016.
Dr. Lutz is married and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He was a 3-year captain on the Rhodes College basketball team and is still an avid collegiate and professional sports fan. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading, playing sports, and running.
