I left Canyon View Medical extremely frustrated and disappointed with the care I received from Dr. Bills. Despite coming in with obvious symptoms like fever, flu-like symptoms, severe sore throat, and ear pain, the physical exam revealed "nothing wrong." I had to ask for specific tests for strep throat, flu, and an ear infection, which should have been obvious steps given my condition.
Only one test result was shared with me positive for strep throat and only then was any treatment prescribed. I have still not received the results of the other tests, and frankly, it feels like the doctor doesn’t care. As the visit neared closing time, I was quickly ushered out of the office, rushed through the appointment without being given a full explanation of what was going on or even the remaining test results. When I asked for something to help me sleep, because I was in pain and had been dealing with fever, strep, and earaches. I was prescribed a cough suppressant. It did absolutely nothing.
