Dr. Ashwani Kumar, M.D., is a sextuple board-certified Interventional Cardiologist at Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists in Richmond, VA. An alumnus of Texas Tech and the University of Illinois, he has performed over 3,000 vascular procedures. Dr. Kumar specializes in limb salvage, complex peripheral artery interventions, venous reflux disease, and advanced cardiac CT angiography. Dr. Kumar has been engaged as the principal investigator in numerous studies to promote the development of innovative treatments for peripheral vascular disease. In his spare time, Dr. Kumar enjoys spending time with his family and biking.
