Doctor running way behind. After waiting 50 minutes we saw a nurse practitioner? My husband refused to wait 10 minites more to see the doctor. He has dementia which contributed to the problem. No reflection on the doctor. We really like her.

Another aspect of cardiology that is close to her heart is heart disease in women. As a wife and mother of two young girls, Dr. Dhanjal knows personally how hard it can be to balance home life while also taking care of yourself. For the last 8 years, she has been actively involved in the “Go Red for Women” campaign in collaboration with American Heart Association to raise awareness around heart disease in women. She also served as the cardiologist for the razorbacks In Northwest Arkansas.
During her training as a fellow at Marshall University, Dr. Dhanjal was highly involved in the care of high-risk pregnant women, and during her practice in the last 8 years, she has worked closely with OBGYN to take care of pregnant women with heart disease.
Dr. Ashu Dhanjal is proud to make Jacksonville her home with her husband and two lovely daughters She enjoys traveling, music and spending time with her family at the beach.
