Dr K is awesome! He is extremely knowledgeable and will respond to your questions with advice that is helpful and comprehensive. I trust his expertise and truly appreciate his desire to heal you through therapy and or injections rather than guide you to an operation.

Dr. Kotcharian previously served a most distinguished career in medicine as Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and as Assistant Fellowship Director of the Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Fellowship, both at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is an expert at both diagnostic and interventional fluoroscopic-guided spinal procedures including steroid injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency denervation.
Dr. Kotcharian enjoys outdoor activities with his family and is a “foodie”. He is active in the sport of martial arts since his youth and continues to practice Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Karate. He proudly achieved and holds the rank of 2nd-degree black belt in Taekwondo. Dr. Kotcharian is fluent in multiple languages including Russian and Spanish. When time allows, he is fond of playing chess, reading, meditation, exercise, and painting.
