Dr. Ashley Park is the best spinal specialist in the South. He is expert at diagnosing what is causing your back pain, and at choosing the best treatment options in an individual basis. If a pain block is the best treatment, his expertise is unmatched.

No solution given outside of what I was using (Tylenol) I told him it’s not working. I didn’t want an injection because it only lasted 2 months

I was in a car wreck and hurt my back and neck he gave me more meds and said if it doesn't work take more and i can go to work In two days i called back because I was still hurting but was told I couldn't come back for 4weeks I'm still hurting and I can't wait that long to be seen. He wouldn't even give me a couple more days

Had to wait too long in examination room. Waited at Costco for medicine that should have been phoned in an hour before. Not very efficient.

Wasn't very friendly, was very rushed and disconnected with my care. I had questions about my care it was brushed off. I will not return for any care from him.

Will not give up on you. He works until he finally gets down to the problem.

I drove almost two hours and waited in the exam room one hour and forty minutes so I left. Horrible experience. No one ever came in and checked on me or let me know it was an abnormal wait time and he would be in shortly. All I heard or saw were employees laughing and playing around.

Dr Park and I have developed a great rapport. He can come off as brusque before you know him, but he’s compassionate, responsive to the information you share, provides advice and respects the patient if they want to talk through alternatives. He also recognizes that the patient knows their body and that films/MRI are one part of the picture and patient observation the other. I appreciate his approach!

Dr. Park's help and treatment gave me welcome relief from chronic lower back pain. He also referred me to an excellent physical therapist at the Clinic.

Nice to have an appointment with a doctor and “ not be given a nurse practitioner instead.” When I first started coming to Campbell Clinic I always saw my doctor and they always gave me “ plenty “ of their time . Each doctor I saw , sat down with me and took time to listen , as well as give me a full understanding of my expected treatment and PT . I was informed thoroughly of all aspects of surgery , recovery , length of PT and when I could expect normal activity. I had been to an orthopedic clinic in L.R. , Ark .that was considered one of the best . My first experience with Campbell clinic was head and shoulders above my past experiences. I told people about the quality of doctors and incredible care I had received . I have seen a change at Campbell Clinic that has made it more like my experiences of the LR clinic . Other clinics are all inserting nurse practitioners as your first visits medical evaluation. Perhaps I am wrong , but I’m not sure Dr. Campbell woul approve of this .

He listens! In my experience this is quite a rare gift among docs, less so among specialists. He asks questions and patiently listens to patient’s answers. He provides detailed explanations in a respectful manner allowing the patient to ask clarifying questions.

Got to the office visit and the Dr. Was not prepared or seemed like he didn't even know why i was there, was referred there from the Arlington office, wasted 40 dollar copay

I initially visited Dr. Campion who referred me over to Dr. Park for C-Spine and Lumbar Spine related to Spondylosis and Cervicalgia as I wasn’t finding much relief in previous resources that I tried to find comfort in which just weren’t bringing any resolution for relief and healing, instead they were just causing more discomfort and unnecessary treatments which were inevitably a waste of time. Dr. Park was very thorough in his assessment, explanations, and presentation of plan of care for treatment of the diagnoses mentioned above. With me being medically minded and educated he used terminology and explanations that correlate to my level of understanding, everything was discussed on a textbook level, I felt like I was back in A&P class! Dr. Park’s bedside manner and personality is excellent!

I am truly disappointed with his visit, because I feel like he forgot who I was constantly asking me the same question that I had to repeat over and over regarding the pain I'm having, and the fact that I have not had any relief since the second nerve block that he gave me!! He does not, and did not appear to truly be concerned, although he wants me to have a second opinion I don't feel like he's connected to me, as doctors in the past that I have dealt with for other issues. I truly felt that he had no concern and I'm troubled as I sit here in pain even right now leaving this review.

Doctor didn’t see me after procedure. When I asked him about it, he ignored me. So therefore I wasn’t given any after care instructions. If doctor can’t make diagnosis without an ERI then patient should be allowed to make appointment when calling for 1st appointment. It really prolonged my pain.

Dr Park controlled the conversation, asking questions without allowing me to explain what I’m experiencing / my progression to get the full picture. I would say this is a function of scheduling appointments only 5 minutes apart, but I have had an excellent experience with other drs here. Dr Park should allow the patient to provide background and to describe what they are experiencing before interrupting. I left feeling that he hadn’t read my chart and that I was unable to give him the full picture.

We had a great visit with him. My mother in-law has Parkinson's and he pick up on it right away. He was able to ask her the right questions to get her to answer. Most doctors we have been to doesn't pick up on it right away. I know he is an orthopedic doctor but it goes a long way when they realize what else is going on in the patients life.

My assessment was not thorough. I had upper back issue and checked my lower back and asked me to sit back up on the table. I had to tell him, he didn't actually assess my problem area. Prior to seeing him, his nurse/nurse assistant, Tamela, had me to explain why I was being seen in the hallway right outside the X-ray waiting area. When I told her I would go into detail once we got into the room, she continued to ask me interview questions I felt embarrassed and believe she lacked discretion with my personal information.

Good patient treatment

This is our third time in to see Dr Park. The first two times he was very personal and took the time to visit with us, but today he talked fast and talked to me instead of my mother, the patient.

Dr Park has always been up front and answered all my questions with respect and professionalism. Helping me to be and stay pain free is his goal.

He was so sweet and is doing exactly what I hoped he would. I will probably need a nerve block, but he wants me to get an MRI first to determine what’s what.

Dr. Park is one of the best! He is very knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner and takes times to explain things thoroughly. He is professional, personable, attentive and truly cares about his patients. I would recommend him without any hesitation.

Have your questions ready. Dr Park will answer them in a way you will understand but has a full load of patients. Take notes. He doesn’t like to keep patients waiting so he evaluates from information you give, test results and comes up with an individual plan for you. He is friendly, courteous and looks at what will help immediately and long term. Excellent nurse and team that work together well. I have been seeing Dr Park for many years and wish he could be my dr for all all areas of my orthopedic needs. You might hear a joke occasionally. Dr Park is one of the good ones! Follow his advice.

I have seen Dr. Park twice. Between these two visits, he did a nerve block on L2,3 and 4 to see if it would stop the pain in my right leg. I still have some pain but nothing close to what I did have.
