My daughter was a walk in patient with a lower back injury and Dr. Park being available to see her was a true blessing since he is a spine specialist. If she needs a follow up appointment, we will definitely make an appointment to see Dr. Park.

Being a Workmans Comp patient I’ve witnessed this preconceived notion up front 1. You don’t want to work. 2. Your injury is not real or deserved to be validated. 3. You would do better just finding another job. When the truth is that you want to work, but in the full compacity before your injury. You have a need to be the person you were before your injury. Dr. Park introduced me to the best Physical Therapist ever Mrs. Margret at Campbell Clinic in doing so she showed what good therapy looks like to me that was most valuable. My end result wasn’t favorable, but the take away was Mrs. Margret and that alone was favorable to leave a 4 star review.

I initially visited Dr. Campion who referred me over to Dr. Park for C-Spine and Lumbar Spine related to Spondylosis and Cervicalgia as I wasn’t finding much relief in previous resources that I tried to find comfort in which just weren’t bringing any resolution for relief and healing, instead they were just causing more discomfort and unnecessary treatments which were inevitably a waste of time. Dr. Park was very thorough in his assessment, explanations, and presentation of plan of care for treatment of the diagnoses mentioned above. With me being medically minded and educated he used terminology and explanations that correlate to my level of understanding, everything was discussed on a textbook level, I felt like I was back in A&P class! Dr. Park’s bedside manner and personality is excellent!

I am truly disappointed with his visit, because I feel like he forgot who I was constantly asking me the same question that I had to repeat over and over regarding the pain I'm having, and the fact that I have not had any relief since the second nerve block that he gave me!! He does not, and did not appear to truly be concerned, although he wants me to have a second opinion I don't feel like he's connected to me, as doctors in the past that I have dealt with for other issues. I truly felt that he had no concern and I'm troubled as I sit here in pain even right now leaving this review.

Medical assistants (unlike nurse) unprofessional and lack empathy. Dr visits are "rushed" without consideration of patient needs or history taken into account.

I felt a little rushed but he’s the first person who seemed to take me seriously and scheduled some testing so I call that a win.

Doctor didn’t see me after procedure. When I asked him about it, he ignored me. So therefore I wasn’t given any after care instructions. If doctor can’t make diagnosis without an ERI then patient should be allowed to make appointment when calling for 1st appointment. It really prolonged my pain.

I have 3 doctors that I see at Campbell. Up until my most recent visit with Park, I’ve had pleasant visits with my other two doctors there. I am not sure if he has an issue with seeing WC patients, blacks, or black women. He’s the most inconsiderate doctor ever. He rushes in and rushes out of the observation room. He interrupts when you’re trying to answer a question that her has. TERRIBLE is most definitely the word.

I would say this is a function of scheduling appointments only 5 minutes apart, but I have had an excellent experience with other drs here. I left feeling that he hadn’t read my chart and that I was unable to give him the full picture.

We had a great visit with him. My mother in-law has Parkinson's and he pick up on it right away. He was able to ask her the right questions to get her to answer. Most doctors we have been to doesn't pick up on it right away. I know he is an orthopedic doctor but it goes a long way when they realize what else is going on in the patients life.

My assessment was not thorough. I had upper back issue and checked my lower back and asked me to sit back up on the table. I had to tell him, he didn't actually assess my problem area. Prior to seeing him, his nurse/nurse assistant, Tamela, had me to explain why I was being seen in the hallway right outside the X-ray waiting area. When I told her I would go into detail once we got into the room, she continued to ask me interview questions I felt embarrassed and believe she lacked discretion with my personal information.

He is always courteous, helpful, gives practical advice and goal is to resolve the problem. He will attend to the problem at hand then work towards a long term solution moving forward. Staff is always highly responsive in returning calls and in the office. I would highly recommend Dr Park. Have your questions ready and written down so you won’t forget. He is on a tight schedule but will answer all questions and give you the time you need. I have been his patient for many years.

O thought he wS going to treT, educated, tey to elevate the chronic pain of my A.S. when Dr Azar turned me over to him... the a.s. IA not curable but he kept saying that he'd heard we can address ... the answer "NO"!! I NOW AM Hvjng to go to A& Boff BurminghM research dept. I hear it's one of the best of it kind. Maybe all the tests will be performed, they are dedicated to research on problems lije this...it's also a health fa ility in the top 6 in te U S. I PRAY IM ON MY WaY to HAVING a real/ enjoyable7 life and not a life of helplessness and hell.....

Good patient treatment

This is our third time in to see Dr Park. The first two times he was very personal and took the time to visit with us, but today he talked fast and talked to me instead of my mother, the patient.

Dr Park has always been up front and answered all my questions with respect and professionalism. Helping me to be and stay pain free is his goal.

He was so sweet and is doing exactly what I hoped he would. I will probably need a nerve block, but he wants me to get an MRI first to determine what’s what.

Dr. Park is one of the best! He is very knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner and takes times to explain things thoroughly. He is professional, personable, attentive and truly cares about his patients. I would recommend him without any hesitation.

Have your questions ready. Dr Park will answer them in a way you will understand but has a full load of patients. Take notes. He doesn’t like to keep patients waiting so he evaluates from information you give, test results and comes up with an individual plan for you. He is friendly, courteous and looks at what will help immediately and long term. Excellent nurse and team that work together well. I have been seeing Dr Park for many years and wish he could be my dr for all all areas of my orthopedic needs. You might hear a joke occasionally. Dr Park is one of the good ones! Follow his advice.

I have seen Dr. Park twice. Between these two visits, he did a nerve block on L2,3 and 4 to see if it would stop the pain in my right leg. I still have some pain but nothing close to what I did have.

I’ve been seeing Dr Parks for many years. He always listens, asks pertinent questions. He’s explained in detail what’s happening in my body and has always given different options and we have worked together to resolve or better them. Dr Parks always brings humor as well as care and brings a mountain of knowledge and experience in his practice

Dr. Park was clearly concerned for me but had to point out that a considerable part of my back pain is due to age and lifestyle. He scheduled therapy and a procedure that may help but I need to change my lifestyle.

He asked good questions, but they were very fast and I didn't get a chance to answer them all fully, but he needed an MRI anyway. So after 2 months of going to different Drs., I was expecting something to help because this time, I was in severe pain. He explained that the office wasn't set up to help me. I don't understand why something can't be done when a patient is in severe pain, but it's not his fault ~ he can't do anything to help me now and it takes 2 weeks to get an MRI and another week to get back to see him. I fault Campbell Clinic for not having the facility equipped to help people in pain. If this continues as it has I'll be perfectly ok in 3 days without even needing pain pills - which I hate, but some kind of treatment to get me home in less pain would have been helpful - like telling me to use a heating pad and/or ice, or having some kind of treatment.
