She was very dismissive of my concerns she made me feel rushed during the appointment. she had no empathy like I am accustomed to from my previous doctor. Dr Aristy. Overall she makes me feel I don’t want to come back. I’m not for certain if it was my race my young age or what, but I was very disappointed and dissatisfied left feeling terriblezz like how could I doctors be so dismissive.

So happy to have her back! She listens to me. She remembers things from the last time she saw you 4 or 5 months ago. And she can research medicines while she's listening to you. Tell her things at the same time. I'm grateful to have her.

I can’t recommend Dr. Gelinas enough! She always goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care. She is incredibly personable and creates a comfortable environment during every visit. Beyond that, her knowledge and expertise are evident, and I always feel confident in her recommendations. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her patients, and I’m so grateful to have her as my primary care doctor.

Dr. Ashley Gelinas was born in Massachusetts but raised in South Florida in the Miami area. She graduated from the University of Miami with her Bachelor’s in nursing. She began her healthcare career working as a nurse at the University of Miami Hospital for three years. She was admitted to the Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica graduating with her MD degree in 2017. She did her family practice residency at the University of Arkansas Hospital in Jonesboro, AR, finishing up this year. While at UAMS she worked in both inpatient and outpatient locations gaining a wide range of practical medical experience. She came to JCMC directly from her residency.
When not at work, Dr. Gelinas enjoys watching live music, reading psychological thrillers, traveling with family, paddle boarding, and snow skiing.
