Dr.Gelinas is the first Dr I’ve ever had that actually took the time to listen and care about me. I’m a mess and I know it , but finally I’ve found a Dr that is willing to actually help and not dismiss me because of how I look or my age . I seriously can’t thank her enough for her kindness and cooperation and I would jump in front of a speeding train for this woman so she can continue helping others as she’s helped me. Give this Dr a raise and a bonus! She deserves it.

Dr. Gelinas is very caring and concerning about your health. She ask all the right questions and if you have any issues or concerns. Dr. Gelinas take her time with patient and goes over all of your medication with you. She is a top notch doctor.

Dr. Gelinas is the best. She listens and has a plan for all my concerns whether they are big or small. I never feel she is in a 10 minute time schedule. I couldn’t be more pleased having her as my GP and will always trust her and know she truly cares about her patients. Office staff is also excellent. There are no questions or concerns that I feel I cannot ask. Highly recommended!

Dr. Ashley Gelinas was born in Massachusetts but raised in South Florida in the Miami area. She graduated from the University of Miami with her Bachelor’s in nursing. She began her healthcare career working as a nurse at the University of Miami Hospital for three years. She was admitted to the Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica graduating with her MD degree in 2017. She did her family practice residency at the University of Arkansas Hospital in Jonesboro, AR, finishing up this year. While at UAMS she worked in both inpatient and outpatient locations gaining a wide range of practical medical experience. She came to JCMC directly from her residency.
When not at work, Dr. Gelinas enjoys watching live music, reading psychological thrillers, traveling with family, paddle boarding, and snow skiing.
