I give Dr G 5 stars all day. She is very approachable. She truly listens to you. She is thoughtful about your financial situation. If you don't have insurance she still strongly encourages preventive care but she is considerate about your limitations and makes practical, realistic suggestions n goals. I have plenty of choices to go to in Wilmington and definitely will stay with Dr. Ashley Molera. She definitely listens to me, understands and ask questions as a diabetic. I do appreciate that so much and I feel very comfortable with her.

Dr. Ashley Gelinas was born in Massachusetts but raised in South Florida in the Miami area. She graduated from the University of Miami with her Bachelor’s in nursing. She began her healthcare career working as a nurse at the University of Miami Hospital for three years. During this period she worked nights and went to school during the day to get her required coursed to be able to go to medical school. She was admitted to the Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica graduating with her MD degree in 2017. She did her family practice residency at the University of Arkansas Hospital in Jonesboro, AR, finishing up this year. While at UAMS she worked in both inpatient and outpatient locations gaining a wide range of practical medical experience. She came to JCMC directly from her residency.
When not at work, Dr. Gelinas enjoys watching live music, reading psychological thrillers, traveling with family, paddle boarding, and snow skiing.
