Dr. Ashley Botterill, who specializes in non-operative general orthopedic care, received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. She completed her Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of North Carolina and a Fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports at the Orthopedic Clinic Association in Phoenix.
Dr. Botterill brings many years of experience as a non-operative spine care specialist, helping patients manage osteoporosis and other spine-related conditions without the use of surgery. She is a member of several professional medical organizations, including the North American Spine Society (NASS), the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR), and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD).
Dr. Botterill joined St. Cloud Orthopedics in January 2019.

i had a great visit with Dr Botterill and she discussed in detail what might be causing my pain and that injection should relive the pain untill i see the spine surgeon she referred me to complet a neck surgery. went and had my pre opp physical at Sanford clinic in alexandria on June 3. had called into St. cloud orthopedic on 5/28/25 and discussed my pain level to her nurse(Tracy) i think and that i would like a call back today from Dr Botterill. At 1:35 Dr Botterill called me and we had a very good talk about upcoming surgery and what to expect from it, and referring to a spine surgeon after injection. She was very empathetic to my pain. then today 6/4/25 i received call from the CEO to St. cloud orthopedic that he is canceling my surgery with Dr Botterill as he has had complaints from staff that i had threatened them?? i asked what is was i was supposed to of said and to who, as i really have no recall what was said? he refused to tell me what was said, when said, call me 3204600431
Professional and personable.
Dr. Botterill was fantastic. I had a hip injection and I did not even know when she inserted the needle even though she told me when she did. I didn’t feel a thing.. I highly recommend her!!
