Dr. Ashkan Zand, M.D., born in Houston, is a passionate board-certified internal medicine and endocrinology specialist, a leader who has great compassion for his patients. He is known for his years of experience, skill, and integrity, and for exceeding his patients’ expectations.

He graduated from Spring High School in Texas. Earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with honors from the University of Houston. He then went on to the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine. During this time, he was recognized with top honors, including being ranked as "Outstanding Overall Resident of the Year".

Moreover, Dr. Zand is a highly accomplished endocrinologist and diabetes & metabolism specialist. He completed his fellowship at the renowned Houston Methodist Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College in the Texas Medical Center.
