It's been almost 20 years since I first saw Dr. Nothnagel with diagnosed macular degeneration. With his guidance he has stopped the degeneration in it's tracks and I have been unchanged for years and still enjoy good site. He is the utmost professional and I recommend him with the highest praise I can give.

Dr. Norhnagel is excellent, and I have been very pleased with the care he provides. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff at Retina Associates Canton has been frustrating. I specifically requested that my prescription be sent to a local pharmacy rather than the mail order pharmacy, but it was still processed through the mail order service. I called again to explain that I needed the medication before returning next week for the remainder of my eye procedure and asked that it be sent to a pharmacy closer to my residence. The receptionist Briana assured me that she would take care of it. Unfortunately, the prescription was still sent incorrectly. The receptionist I spoke with was the same person I had previously raised my concerns with. I never received an apology, nor did anyone follow up with me regarding how they planned to resolve the issue. The lack of communication and attention to my request has been very dissapointing.

Dr. Nothnagel is a wonderful doctor. He listens, answers questions, and explains things very well. He treats you like a person and not a number. Very respectful, pleasant, compassionate, and trustworthy.
