Dr. Daftari received his fellowship training in pain medicine at Wayne State University Henry Ford Hospital in the Department of Anesthesiology in Michigan. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Case Western University – Metrohealth Medical Center in Ohio and his internal medicine internship at St. Banabas Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Daftari obtained his medical degree from St. George’s University Medical School in Grenada, West Indies. He earned his masters and bachelor’s degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Here he was an All-American Scholar and was actively involved in the Sigma Xi Research Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society.
Dr. Daftari has contributed journal articles to the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics as well as actively participates in academic conferences. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR) American Academy of Pain Medicine AAPM) and the North American Neuromodulation Society (NAMS).
