Dr. Anthony Porter is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine, trauma and joint reconstruction. Dr. Porter completed his medical school and residency in Massachusetts, continuing on to complete a sports medicine fellowship in San Diego where he received special training in shoulder replacement. Dr. Porter performs arthroscopic surgery, and joint replacement of the knee, hip and shoulder. Dr. Porter offers patients non-surgical rehabilitation and minimally invasive surgical approaches when possible. Dr. Porter originally grew up in the Boston area playing sports and continues to follow the local teams. His interest in orthopedics stemmed from his love of sports and the ability to help people get back to their favorite activities. Outside of work, Dr. Porter enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa and their dog Bruce, playing and watching sports, hiking, traveling, and experiencing new cuisines.
