Dr. Anthony Avino received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Vanderbilt University and completed medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center and a year of vascular research at the Mayo Clinic. He then completed 2 additional years of training in vascular surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Avino was a co-founding member of the Georgia Vascular Society and has served as Treasurer and subsequently President. He is also a co-founding member and current Treasurer of the Georgia Vascular Foundation. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine and an active member of multiple societies. Dr. Avino is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr Avino discussed thoroughly the reason for my visit. He asked the staff to obtain some test results I had at another facility. He carefully reviewed them and provided a complete explanation and answered all my questions. I would definitely use this practice again.
