Dr. Anthony Avino received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Vanderbilt University and completed medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center and a year of vascular research at the Mayo Clinic. He then completed 2 additional years of training in vascular surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Avino was a co-founding member of the Georgia Vascular Society and has served as Treasurer and subsequently President. He is also a co-founding member and current Treasurer of the Georgia Vascular Foundation. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine and an active member of multiple societies. Dr. Avino is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

I appreciated him taking the time to talk to me to try to put me at ease as he could see I was nervous. And if course his expertise in the procedure.
Very very nice doctor. And the staff is wonderful and friendly. They worked it out so I can get the ultrasound of my leg done while I was there instead of having to come back for a second appointment since I live in Pooler.

My visit with Dr. Abino so wonderful let me tell you what I like the most about my visit with him… He spent time with me he listened to me. He kept looking at my leg. He kept trying to evaluate my leg. He made notes while he was in the room with me, I respected that more than anything I’ve had other doctors come in talk really fast, I have no idea what the hell they said Tell me where to go check out and leave out the door, but not this doctor he was for him amazing
Did not see the doctor, waited an hour and left
Saw Physicaln Assistant, she was very thorough and positive. Really liked her a lot, easy to follow and understand.
Great staff. Friendly staff. Only complaint...ultrasound too 35 min. & had to sit for 40 min. before they came with the report to the patient room.
