Dr. Anthony Avino received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Vanderbilt University and completed medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center and a year of vascular research at the Mayo Clinic. He then completed 2 additional years of training in vascular surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Avino was a co-founding member of the Georgia Vascular Society and has served as Treasurer and subsequently President. He is also a co-founding member and current Treasurer of the Georgia Vascular Foundation. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine and an active member of multiple societies. Dr. Avino is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Excellent bedside manner. He makes the painful experience easier by talking you thru it. He warns you of what's fixing to take place.

Dr Avino did a radio frequency ablation and a microphlebectomy on my vein. He was very gentle and professional. He did not rush and made sure I was comfortable. I did my procedure with no sedation so he kept me comfortable and injected the local when I let him know I was feeling discomfort. He and his staff took great care of me.
Busy day I got in very fast so no complaints. Staff was very professional and kind.

The entire experience was definitely one of the best. From the time I checked in until my discharge was very professional. No wait time at all. If I need further vascular care I will be coming back.
