Dr. Anthony Avino received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Vanderbilt University and completed medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center and a year of vascular research at the Mayo Clinic. He then completed 2 additional years of training in vascular surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Avino was a co-founding member of the Georgia Vascular Society and has served as Treasurer and subsequently President. He is also a co-founding member and current Treasurer of the Georgia Vascular Foundation. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine and an active member of multiple societies. Dr. Avino is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Well I didn’t see him BUT I did meet Evan, his tech who was very friendly and professional. Then Dee, his PA who was very informative and personable. Great staff you have, Doc!

Very nice, listened to what I had to say without rushing me and expained everything to me then asked if I had any question, feel like he cared.
I appreciated him taking the time to talk to me to try to put me at ease as he could see I was nervous. And if course his expertise in the procedure.
Very very nice doctor. And the staff is wonderful and friendly. They worked it out so I can get the ultrasound of my leg done while I was there instead of having to come back for a second appointment since I live in Pooler.
