Dr. Anthony Fiacco, M.D. earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he also completed certificates in Healthcare Leadership and Patient Safety & Quality.
Dr. Fiacco completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Fiacco is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a particular interest in refractive cataract surgery.
He and his wife, Amy, enjoy spending their time outdoors running or hiking. They are excited to be putting down roots in North Carolina and look forward to becoming part of the local community.

Dr Fiacco was able to restore vision in my left eye. Had not been able to see anything with that eye for more than three years following cataract surgery. Had seen several other doctors and no one could understand why I couldn’t see. Dr. Fiacco is my miracle doctor!
