He went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he also completed certificates in Healthcare Leadership and Patient Safety & Quality.
Dr. Fiacco completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Fiacco is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a particular interest in refractive cataract surgery.
He and his wife, Amy, enjoy spending their time outdoors running or hiking. They are excited to be putting down roots in North Carolina and look forward to becoming part of the local community.

Pleasant, took time to review prior doctor’s notes, explained what he was doing and why, discussed concerns and questions in understandable manner. Best of all, he was timely and I didn’t wait hours past my appointment time.
He was very nice and thorough. I will see him in 6 months.
Totally appreciative of this eye surgeon who was covering today for Dr. Brasington. Seems like the surgeons and STAFF at Alamance EYE in Burlington NC and Mebane are all the best in the business.
