Dr. Anthony Fiacco, M.D. earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he also completed certificates in Healthcare Leadership and Patient Safety & Quality.
Dr. Fiacco completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Fiacco is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a particular interest in refractive cataract surgery.
He and his wife, Amy, enjoy spending their time outdoors running or hiking. They are excited to be putting down roots in North Carolina and look forward to becoming part of the local community.

First time meeting with him.
Exceptional care from Dr. Fiacco and the entire team. Personable and very patient with any questions I had for him. I will be returning and will happily recommend to anyone. Well Done!
Seemed to be very conscientious and caring. He picked up on the fact at my problem was vision problems but instead Neurological problems and sent me to the ER right away for a CT scan of my head. I haven’t got the results yet, but it might have saved my life. Out here in the room I’m going home. Call me when you’re done. This is gonna be a process. I’m gonna do a work and then they’ve already done the test. If they do out here they gonna come back evaluation she said, based on the symptoms with you, she said you would have four hours stay here for like a day or two The doctor make a termination if he needs to be more test how long can you can you if you’re hungry? Are you allowed to eat? What’s the closest to the hospital?
