Dr. Anthony Dekker, M.D., bringing decades of experience in clinical care, leadership, and medical education. Dr. Dekker recently retired after 37 years of federal service, including roles with the Indian Health Service, Department of Defense, U.S. Public Health Service, and the Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System. Most recently, he served as Chief Medical Officer for the Division of Developmental Disabilities from 2022–2025.
Board certified in Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Pain Medicine, Dr. Dekker’s areas of expertise include developmental disorders, addiction medicine, chronic pain, behavioral health, and care for high-risk populations. Originally from western Michigan, Dr. Dekker has dedicated his career to patient care, teaching, and service. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
