Dr. Dekker recently retired after 37 years of federal service, including roles with the Indian Health Service, Department of Defense, U.S. Public Health Service, and the Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System. Most recently, he served as Chief Medical Officer for the Division of Developmental Disabilities from 2022–2025.
