She is a great doctor. Very caring and pleasant. I feel comfortable with her. Sometimes I can’t hear her as well as I would like.
For a suggestion the questions that are required with your thoughts or feelings in the last two weeks should have a hard copy given to the patient so they could follow along and then she wouldn’t need to repeat all of the possible responses.

She completed her residency at the University of Tennessee and fellowships in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Tennessee and Wayne State University in Detroit. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with additional board certification in child and adolescent, and in adult psychiatry. Dr. Thakur has broad experience in treating childhood behavioral disorders and mood disorders. She joined the staff of Oaklawn in 1993.
