Dr. Annette Tobar, M.D. is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine and Tufts Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences where she earned her medical degree and master’s degree in clinical research. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver.
Since completing her training in Gastroenterology, she practiced GI medicine in Nashua for seven years before starting at Granite State Gastroenterology. She has a special interest in liver disease, treating chronic viral hepatitis and managing chronic liver disease including cirrhosis. She is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Tobar grew up in Florida and has been in the Northeast since 2002. She and her husband Val have two children with whom they enjoy spending the majority of their time. She has a special interest in staying active and exercising. As her young children are becoming excellent young skiers, she hopes to learn how to ski in these coming years.
