Dr. Osher is an excellent doctor! She is very competent, responsive, and caring.
After treating me quite kindly in my first two visits, she started to act as if dealing with anything I had to say was an inconvenience and not worth her time. If I called on the phone it was rare that she would take the call and would simply have Vanessa be her mouthpiece. There came a point when my desire to not see her solidified. However, while I didn’t wish to see her, there were certain things that as a doctor she should have, but never did, take care of. A general physical. Keeping me vaccinated. Making certain I received necessary medication. I was so used to being taken care of on a regular basis that this lack only hit me months after the fact. While her receptionist is quite kind, and I was always seen in a timely manner (should I be given an appt) that doesn’t make up for the fact that if she takes a dislike to a patient she has no problem letting the patient know. I’ve never encountered this problem before so having it with my PCP is beyond disconcerting.
Extremely thorough. Responded to urgent request and provided immediate support on the weekend.
Finally a true general doctor that sees you as a whole ! with a great assistant that keeps things organized and punctual. Can't ask for more.
