Dr. Polson was courteous and professional. My main complaint is that I arrived early for my 3 pm appointment and did not leave the clinic until after 5 pm--over 2 hours. My time, of course, is precious too. I was frank in discussing this with Doctor, and she with me, telling me that she had to deal with emergencies. We discussed alternatives. Which included another clinic; another of your locations; also trying another time for next appointment, such as earlier in the day. I opted for the last, scheduling at 9 am. She may have saved my life. She had me go to the Emergency room to be checked out and I found out that I had a stroke in my right eye. She may have saved me from having a stroke. I will have to thank her in person.

Dr. Poulsen not only did a thorough annual eye exam, she flagged a potentially very serious Retina Detachment in my right eye and got me immediately connected to a Specialist. I will be operated on this Monday. The problem had been going on for a few years, but it still very correctable. I have had routine annual eye exams from very skilled and credentialled Doctors who missed the Retina Detachment completely. So I am greatly indebted to Dr. Poulsen, an efficient and highly skilled professional who put me on the path to get a very serious problem corrected.

I went to Dr Poulsen for a diabetic eye check up. I had a very minimal prescription. Turns out the symptoms I was having were due to dry eyes. I really only need reading glasses. It's been about a week of following her directions and I have already seen a significant change. She didn't just assume I knew about my eye condition, she explained it a way that was understandable.

She was real detailed in her care!

The ophthalmologist I saw was very thorough with my assessment and exam and gave me helpful suggestions for managing my eye diagnoses.

Since I am 92 years old Doctor talked mostly with my daughter instead of to me in evaluating and treating my problems. I live alone and am able to take care of myself. Hopefully next time I see her I will be treated differently.
